Come out to celebrate the efforts of the Summer 2025 FTQEE Edge students as they take to the stage for their first showcase! 

Students BellaDonna and Nikhol Janeen, have gone through all three levels of the FTQEE program and will be taking to the stage with a fresh 10 minutes of material, along side them some shinning stars in the community.

Aside from the students we have established local talent.

Emcee for the evening is Ashley Calhoun, FTQEE alums Ariel Everitt, Kelly Marco and local super stars Dani Lee (Luv), Jacob Russell, Nicole Melnyk, and Hailey Zureich.

We will be at the enchanting Nomi Lounge in downtown Northville. Enjoy free parking, a menu of delicious eats, treats, drinks, and other surprise delights!

There are many titles for the Master of Ceremony, emcee, host, leader--but no matter the title it cannot be denied the importance of this role. 

Whether you're looking to feel more confident leading work meetings, hope to emcee a burlesque show, want to host at a club, looking to host your podcast, or just want some tips to elevate your professional public speaking skills, this workshop is just for you.

During this session we will go over the standard expectations for emcee/hosts, best practices, exercises to build up problem solving skills, ideas for how to land more opportunities, and more!

Each participant will receive 4 hours of in class time, the zhailey coaching Emcee Standards & Best Practices mini-workbook, and other surprise delights!

These students have gone through the Stand Up 101 programing—learning the fundamentals of stand up, writing jokes, performing, and have worked to put together 5 minutes of material to wow the crowd!

Aside from the students we have established local talent. Emcee for the evening is Tommy Gunn, FTQEE alums Leta Chrisman, Nikhol Jeanne, Kim Turner, and local super stars Mike Boone and Sam Rager. 

This is an evening to celebrate femme, them, and queer comedic talent— look forward to other surprise delights!
